CODE OF CONDUCT

​​As ProBBA is an independent organization under KY, we follow the KY's Code of Conduct and ensure that the KY's Code of Conduct is followed in all event, and situations where ProBBA members are in contact with each other or other people. We are dedicated to providing harassment-free conditions for everyone. 

EQUALITY COORDINATORS

To ensure that the KY's Code of Conduct is being followed in the Mikkeli campus, two Equality Coordinators have been appointed in the ProBBA Board. These Equality Coordinators ensure harassment-free conditions for everyone, and timely response to any harassment concerns. ProBBA's Equality Coordinators have the right to act according to the KY's Code of Conduct.

If you see, overhear or experience a violation of the Code of Conduct in ProBBA’s premises, e.g. at an event, please follow these steps:
 

  1. If you encounter inappropriate behavior yourself or as an observer, intervene in the situation and tell the person acting inappropriately to stop if possible.

  2. If someone is in an immediate danger, call the national emergency number 112 for authorities.

  3. Contact the event organizers and tell what has happened.

  4. If possible, write down what has happened to ease the further addressing of the issue.

  5. Contact the ProBBA Board, primarily the two Equality Coordinators.

After investigating the issue and hearing all relevant parties, Probba can pose sanctions to those who have been seen as violating KY's Code of Conduct.
