Probba ry in a nutshell
Probba is the official Student Organization of Helsinki School of Economics Mikkeli Business Campus. Probba was founded in 1989, the same year as the campus itself. All Mikkeli Business Campus students belong to Probba. The organization is run by the Probba board members, elected each year. The main responsibilities of the organization include acting for the general well-being of students, organizing events, being a link with the staff and the students and taking care of incoming exchange students.
Most of our school related events are organized by Probba. Starting with the seven day hullabaloo called Orientation Week, continuing with company excursions, theme parties, Career Day and all the way up to the Graduation ceremony.
The Probba Board consists of 8-9 members and is lead by the President. The board holds meetings about once a month. Each Probba Board member has specific responsibilities. For example the Treasurer is responsible for all monetary actions, the International Affairs Coordinator is responsible for the well-being of the exchange students, Social and Freetime Coordinator organizes the parties and so on. See more information in the Board-section of this webpage.
