BscBA Degree Progam Information

The BScBA program offered at the Helsinki School of Economics Mikkeli Business Campus is a degree program with a major in International Business. The program aims to develop graduates who are well-educated in the International Business sector. The entirety of the program is taught in English and by visiting professors from around the world.

 

The BScBA courses are taught in three week intensive modules. There are a total of sixteen courses each academic year. The classes for each three week module are held five days a week, for three hours each day, either from 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm. Due to the three week modules, attendance is mandatory.

 

BScBA degree students are full-time students, who have the possibility of attending school all year round. The nature of the degree is fast paced, which is meant to mimic the reality of working in the business world. It is demanding, but in the end it is rewarding.

 

The BScBA Degree Program includes courses in management, marketing, finance, accounting and so on, all with an emphasis in international business. Students have the ability to learn in different ways and at our school there is definitely no lack of group work or presentations. Our school prepares a student for the business world, by giving them the possibility of working with different people. Students hold numerous individual and group presentations, which helps one become more comfortable talking in public, to a small or large group of people.

 

Also the BScBA degree program includes the mandatory exchange period, which is a great asset to the program. A student has the possibility of attending a university in a foreign country, allowing a student to experience something new and learn to use their learned skills in new settings. The exchange period is a good conclusion to the program, adding the extra amount of internationality that will benefit a student for years to come.
