The COOLEST event of the year is approaching again so it’s time to get your downhill equipment polished and hair combed backwards.

Mikkeli Goes Down is Probba’s annual sledging event that will shake your beliefs of altitudes at the great (almost) undefeatable Naisvuori Alps.

Come test your courage and enjoy the fresh mountain air while having a blast with your fellow Babas! The evening will include fun and games,

wintery taste sensations and competitions with unbeatable prizes. And what’s best, Probba totally sympathizes with your student budget so

the event is FREE! What else would you need for a perfect evening? The snow is pure white and the hill is steep, come make the most out of it!

And now it’s time to let your imagination flow: Probba will award the most creative and funky way to go down with a dashing prize!

Huikea KY-Speksi saapuu Mikkeliin 13.3!

Liikemies Jarno Fagerström saapuu vankilaan, jossa on hiukan erilainen meininki kuin TV-sarjoissa. Vanhuudenhöperön vankilanjohtajan mielestä linnakundeja tulee kohdella lempeästi – onhan heilläkin sentään ihmisoikeudet. Siksi viiden tähden Vanki-Lasta löytyy kylpyläosasto, satiinilakanat ja jopa ikioma ampumarata! Mutta miten käykään, kun valtaan nousee rikollisten pahin painajainen, varajohtaja Kettunen? Vangit päättävät laatia salaisen suunnitelman…

KY-Speksi on spektaakkelinomainen näytelmä, johon osallistuu näyttelijöiden lisäksi bändi, tanssijoita ja – yleisö! Näytelmä etenee kohtaus kohtaukselta, mutta yleisöllä on valta päättää menikö homma toivotulla tavalla: Jos kohtaus halutaan nähdä uudelleen tietyllä tyylillä, huutaa joku esim. Omstart – Jersey Shore, jolloin kohtaus vedetään uudestaan Jersey Shore –tyylillä.

SILLIS (The Traditional Herring Breakfast) takes place in Mikkeli on Saturday 27th of October 2012, the day after the Grand Annual Ball!

This year's theme for SILLIS are the awesomely terrific SMURFS, so find your inner blueness and start rehearsing your dance moves to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjpVWKS_I7M

Come to our school campus at 12 in the afternoon, we'll walk to the Sillis-place from there!

Those who are attending GAB are automatically signed up for Sillis. Those who are not attending GAB but willing to come to Sillis, you have a change to purchase your tickets later!

Also, if you want to buy extra drink tickets you can them during the event (bring cash! 10€/ticket).

Probba's 24th Grand Annual Ball

Probba ry has the great pleasure of inviting you to the 24th Grand Annual Ball of Probba, the Student Organization of the Aalto University School of Business Mikkeli Campus, on October 26th, 2012.

The formal evening dinner will commence at 6:00 p.m at the Mikkeli Concert and Congress Hall Mikaeli (Sointukatu 1, 50100 Mikkeli). After the formal dinner there will be a bus transportation to the after party.

Dresscode: White tie and academic medals

Menu:

APPETIZER
Artichoke soup and tapanade

MAIN COURSE
-Ox wrapped in bacon, dark calvados sauce, herb potatoes
-Lightly smoked salmon, white wine sauce, baked potato and vegetables
-Porcino risotto with roasted olives and parmesan

DESSERT
Toasted almond semifreddo with chocolate sauce

O-week is here again and it is time to welcome the new students to Mikkeli! We have an amazing week ahead of us with lots of fun-filled activities from floorball to tutor nights and the legendary Runnin Baba. For the new students: you might be startled with all that is happening in the beginning but no worries! You will get used to the Mikkeli culture very fast. The Probba Board along with all of the other students and student clubs are here to help you and answer all of your questions.
